The Story Behind the Signatures
Between 1987 and 1999 I’d frequent the Oakland A’s games, arriving 3 hours prior to the first pitch and 2 hours postgame. I was a teenager doing whatever it took to meet as many players and get as many autographs as possible. I knew the ins and outs of the stadium and found my way into the hallway where the visiting teams left the locker room and walked to the bus. Everyone signed. Over the course of these years my in person autograph collection soared and reached to the thousands. I’ve reached a point in my life where my goals have shifted which is why I’ve decided to part with my collection and to those who can appreciate the story behind the signatures.
